This week at LifeSong:
What a great time we had in class this week!
We were honored with two guest speakers, Andy Cecil and John Cecil--son and father.
Andy manages over 100 convenience stores. His responsibilities include hiring and training of the employees for these retail establishments. The experience gained from this position, along with his wisdom from scripture, allowed Andy to give a banner presentation that covered the necessary character of a model employee and the key points of interest and questions of a job interview from a potential employer's point of view. This valuable information helps equip our class participants as they go about their job search. Many thanks to Andy for his time and shared knowledge.
Later in the week John Cecil presented information to the women on how their personality interacts with other types of personalities. Learning to communicate effectively is a key component to life---both on the job and off! The class left understanding what their individual personality is, what the strength and weakness of their personality is and how God has uniquely made them with that specific personality. This is always a fun class and we are most fortunate to have John as a valuable part of our volunteer team at LifeSong! Another big "Thank YOU" goes out to John.
There were many other great things about class this week but the final one was the luncheon that Student Relations Leader, Jenny Flowers, hosted for our class members. We have reached the half way marker for graduation! YEAH!!! We are so proud to see our class members growing and sharing and learning. The luncheon is our way of giving each one our admiration and support! Thanks Jenny for another great luncheon.......your gift of hospitality was seen at its' finest!
